ya know how sometimes you throw on a really simple outfit, with nothing to special, and then it ends up magical? that's exactly what happened with this outfit. i'm a firm believer in never outfit repeating but every once in a while, an outfit is so special, that one wear just isn't enough. i wore this outfit to dinner with the family on saturday night, church sunday morning, and youth group at my friends' church sunday night. THREE WEARS. not even bothered. i may wear it again if i can think of some one who hasn't seen it yet.  by how much i loved it, and the number of compliments i got, i'd say this outfit was a success.

Throwback Thursday #1- thrifting haul

 

 

first up in the haul is this black pencil skirt that was originally from h&m which we don't actually have any of in my state. this fits absolutely perfect and is in great condition. it's obviously wrinkled because i tried these on as soon as i got home & took pictures in the outfit i was already wearing. it's black though it looks a little washed out here.

 

next up is this fabulous skirt that is like khaki material but is more of a medium grey brown color. it too fits perfectly and is in great condition. i'm not familiar with the brand of this one.

for some reason i don't have a front facing picture of this one, but look at this fabulous lavender skirt! it has pleats but then then come together at the bottom so it makes the skirt kind of full. it's from h&m too and i absolutely completely love this skirt.

 

when i found these shoes i kind of did a happy dance in goodwill. i love the leather detail and the crispness of the white. i think these are so much nicer than just white vans because those have a tendency to look like nurse shoes while these have a lot more detail. also, these are in perfect condition, like pristine white.

lastly i picked up this skirt to use the material in another project. i would totally wear it as a skirt but its too big & the materials a little weird but i think its super fun so i picked it up any way.

hope you enjoyed this haul, everything i got was 3-4 dollars which was such a score because like i've said i love love love it all. look for all these peices in upcoming OOTDs.

hey you guys! sorry i haven't blogged in forever! my dad had unexpected health problems throughout february & then i just had a lot of things going on & i had exams & blah blah blah. anyways, I'M BACK! i'm super excited for spring and blogging again! i have a lot of outfits and post that i missed while not blogging, so i'm going to start a "throwback thursday" series in which i post and outfit or event that happened in february or beginning of march. i'll also have regular current post going up so hopefully i'll be getting you guys two post a week. next week is my spring break though so id love to post more that week. leave any request for post down below, i'd love your feedback & hopefully ill see you guys tomorrow!

hey guys sorry i've been mia lately , i've had some family things going on and i wasn't at my house for several days. I'll try and post as much as i can this week but no promises because i already know it's going to be crazy. i tend to go over the top for valentines day and i have several projects in the works. also, one of my bestfriend's birthdays is valentines day & mine is this saturday so i'm super busy this week! i do already have some pictures taken that i need to write post on so i'll try and get one or to post in! stick with me you guys & i promise i'll be posting more starting next week. since i didnt't do a my week post, here are some pictures of my thrifting adventures lately with emmie & michael.

ootd biblestudy edition- featuring sevenly!

 

hey guys sorry for the lack of post, this week has been crazy! here's a super laid back outfit i wore to bible study this week. i really just wanted to post this to share my awesome shirt from sevenly. sevenly is a nonprofit organization that, each week, designs a new tshirt to represent a different charity and then the proceeds of the sales, $7, goes to that charity. this is my second sevenly shirt though i wish i could buy them every week. the tshirt says open your eyes you are never alone and it supported TWLOHA, or to write love on her arms, which is an organization for teens suffering with depression and self harm. the other sevenly shirt i have supported a charity in china that provided for orphanages. both of these charities supported causes that are dear to my heart. so though i can;t get a shirt everyweek i always snatch up ones that support charities i love. also, both the shirts i have have super cool graphics and awesome fits. this ones the dolamn in a size medium and it is longer in the front and back than it is on the sides which i think is the msot flattering shirt cut there is. also it covers your butt enough to wear it with leggings. the other shirt i have is a mens tshirt in a size small. i'm planning on doing an ootd with my other sevenly shirt and dressing it up a little but i hope you guys enjoy this and you go check out sevenly!
