car haul- drugstore makeup!

hey guys! so i just got a debit card the other day & of course, i needed ot break it in so mommy and i hit up walgreens!
for eye shadows, i picked up a palette & a single, & my mom bought a duo that isn't pictured very well.
from left to right: jordana eyeshadow duo in good match. i've never used anything from this line but my mom wanted some matte shadows. this one was under five dollars, and both the medium matte brown & the creamy highlight pack a lot of punch, though they didn't picture very well. next is the l'oreal infallible color in liquid diamond. i've wanted to try this line for ever, and since i'm on lavender kick, this one satisfies my cravings quite nicely. also, i don't have any darker my subdued, less pastely lavenders 7 this is stunning. lastly, are some random swatches form the $1 profusion color me glow palette in 04. i have another one of these, and the pictures don't do it justice. i may just buy the whole line of these next time i',m at walgreens. with some nicer packaging, these could be urban decay shadows.

my mom wanted a plum & a peach lip color, & while neither of us were impressed by the peach, the plum is a hit. i love revlon lip butters but this peach parfait is super glittery and just not very cute. the maybelline color whisper in a plum prospect is super pretty & definitely a winner!
both my face products are milani, the first being my third repurchases of the multitasker face powder which you can read my thoughts on here. side note, this was only $7 at my walgreen's and it usually runs me around $11 at cvs so i'm not sure if that's a universal price change or if walgreen's just charges cheaper but definitely look for it at walgreen's. the second is the milani baked blush in fantastico mauve. this is the first milani baked blush i've ever tried but i've heard great things one them. i'm was planning on purchasing the new lavender blush in maybellines spring line but it was super super purple, so i went for this instead. hopefully it pulls my purpley because in the swatch its just a really dark peach.

lastly, i picked up three nail polishes. dreamy poppy & blazed in wet n wild's regular $1 line & sprinkled with love from a new line that was $3 because the color really drew e in. they're a weired bottle with a super long handle & there only seemed to be 4 or 5 colors but they were all duochromey. i, or course, chose the lavender one.

and. of course, i purchased my backdrop, the newest edition of glamour with the gorgeous hayden panettiere on the cover and the lovely arden rose on the inside.

hope you enjoyed! much love! -emily
